With over 15 years experience in the advertising industry, James Britton is Managing Director at interactive production company Stink Studios, where he oversees the growth and output across the networks three European offices. Joining from AKQA in 2011, James has broadened Stinkdigital’s expertise in interactive film to encompass production and development of award winning mobile apps, data visualisation, virtual reality and installations for clients including Google, Nike, and Honda.
Producing several international award-winning campaigns including One Show Interactive Gold winner Nike ‘My Time is Now’, Gold Cannes Lion awarded CNN ‘Ecosphere’ in 2012 and Geox ‘Amphibiox’ in 2013, James most recently led out of Stinkdigital the production of ‘Inside Abbey Road’ in partnership with Google.
Being called upon regularly to speak at conferences for D&AD, Ciclope and IAB, James has spoken at Cannes Lions and Advertising Week Europe discussing the creative use of data in mobile and real-time advertising. This year James was invited to sit on D&AD’s Digital jury, and Creative Review’s The Annual awards jury.
