Bobette Buster, Story Guru, international story/script consultant and lecturer to production companies and studios worldwide, renown for “Deconstructing Master Filmmakers” Lecture series, “Universal Principles of Cinematic Language”, ‘”How Cinema Discovered Story”.
She is currently writing/producing the feature documentary, MAKING WAVES: THE ART OF CINEMATIC SOUND, with Karen Johnson and director, Midge Costin (Head of the USC Sound Department). Her recent sold-out SSN Hollywood Insider Lecture series at 21st Century Fox Studios, was promoted as “Hollywood’s Best Kept Secret”, while Bobette’s book, DO STORY: How To Tell Your Story So The World Listens (now in its 6th printing, translated into Chinese and Italian). DO STORY is based on Bobette’s DO WORKSHOP LECTURE, “Can You Tell Your Story?”.
Bobette’s international lecture series, “Deconstructing Master Filmmakers” has positioned her regularly on the Guest Faculty of Pixar, Disney Animation, Disney Channel, Sony Animation, 20th + 21st Century Fox, the BBC, Catholic University of Milan, La Fėmis (Paris), Animation Ireland, Screen Training Ireland, North By Northwest (Denmark), and the MEGA Business Program, Spain.
