Recently (July 2017) departing Chief Creative Officer at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. In that time, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne won Campaign Brief Agency of the Year a record seven times and just won Cannes Agency of The Year 2017 and D&AD Agency of the Year 2017.
Last month, Adweek named him one of “10 Global Creative Leaders that are Reinventing the Advertising Industry“. Campaign Brief Australia has ranked him the #1 Creative Director in Australia for the past several years, and he has headed the Bestads Australian Creative Rankings for the last decade. And is ranked #7 in the world.
As a copywriter, his most famous work is the on-going Carlton Draught “Made from Beer” campaign featuring “Big Ad”. Voted “No.1 Beer Ad of the Last 15 Years” by OneShow and included in the Sydney Power House Museum’s “Top 10 Greatest Australian Ads”. Follow up ads such as “Flashbeer”, “SloMo” & “Beer-Chase” and promotions such as “Drop The Bomb” also won Gold around the world.
As ECD he guided Gold-lion winning campaigns such as TAC “Meet Graham”; Snickers “Hungerithm”; Bonds “Boys”; Victoria Tourism’s “Remote Control Tourist”; National Australia Bank “Breakup”; Four ‘n’ Twenty’s “Magic Salad Plate”; Australian Guide Dogs’ “Support Scent”; Carlton Draught “Slo Mo” & “Beer Chase”, Carlton Mid film and print (Gold, Cannes).
He served on the Cannes Lions Print Jury (2010) Film & TV Jury (2013) Titanium Jury (2015) and perhaps most interestingly in 2012 he was a member of the Cannes ‘Chimera’ – a group of Grand-Prix-winning mentors that served for the Bill Gates foundation in Seattle.
Besides, Ant is an artist/writer/musician. He writes, directs films (currently film funded by AFC) and creates animation (www.vimeo.com/antkeogh), and a mysterious sprawling art project called FUNKUNCLE (2002-present), writes/performs music, and occasionally acts (for example, cameo in the feature film “Kenny”).
