Anders Eklind comes from an advertising family. His dad was an Art Director. His two brothers became Art Directors. And he’s an Art Director. As a kid, going to the agency with dad was fun, far from a punch-clock job. And the agencies cookies weren’t bad either.
Eklind joined Forsman & Bodenfors in 1992 as a creative and partner, back when the agency only had 9 employees. For more than a decade, the agency has been one of the top creative agencies in the world and was named Cannes Lions’ Independent Agency of 2014.
He’s created several awarded campaigns for IKEA and Volvo Cars over the years, and is one of the creatives behind the “Epic Split” and Volvo Trucks Live Test Series. A campaign that has been awarded with the Black Cube at ADC, Best in Show at the One Show, three Yellow Pencils and one Black at D&AD, and three Grand Prix and eight Golds at the Cannes Lions.
He thinks advertising has a strong affect on the development of society- therefore we must take responsibility in what we create. He also has a strong environmental interest and believes in the transformation to a green economy.
