As VP, Managing Director of R/GA Content Studio, Alex Morrison oversees the content discipline, delivering an integrated content model for the agency across its global network, with nine studio locations based in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney.

With a deep background in strategic branding, digital marketing, and content development, Alex has delivered breakthrough creative and measurable results for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Google, Nike, Samsung, Gillette, American Express, Marriott, JetBlue, Gap Inc., and Universal Music Group.

Prior to joining R/GA, Alex served as SVP, Director of Digital Marketing, at Grey Group, where he drove significant digital business growth and worked to evolve one of the world’s most famous global agency brands into a full-service, integrated communications company. During his tenure, Alex also founded and ran Grey’s dedicated content marketing group, Gravy Studios, designed to create and distribute content at the speed of social. Before Grey, Alex served as Partner and EVP at AgencyNet, opening the agency’s New York office while running strategy and new business, and was the cofounder of a New York digital content startup at JWT.

Alex serves as an advisor to several promising startups, and is often asked to vet business plans on behalf of the “sharks” on ABC’s Shark Tank. He holds his MBA from Columbia Business School.
